Many of the problems related to 'sick building' syndrome can be traced back to microorganisms like viruses, bacteria and fungi ... all of which can cause serious reactions in people with asthma or allergies. In the open air, sunlight is able decompose many of these contaminants. The Sanuvox Air purifier uses Ultraviolet light to recreate this effect, actually destroying more than 99% of the organisms that pass through it.

Sanuvox makes a number of units for both residential and commercial use. In the home, units are available for a single room (portable) or as a duct-mounted unit to purify air throughout the house.

Ultraviolet (UV) light has been used for decades to kill or inactivate bacteria, viruses, yeasts, fungi, and moulds. The Dust Free Bio-Fighter comes a wide variety of configurations and can be added to most any forced-air heating/cooling system, residential or commercial. Adding a UV light to your HVAC system will greatly reduce the spread of disease by microorganisms while also reducing odours caused by moulds, bacteria, and fungi. As an added benefit, the Bio-Fighter will prevent mould growth on HVAC coils, allowing them to stay clean and operate at peak efficiency.

Bio-Fighter LightStick:
The LightStick is designed to simplify installation. Working with 24v power from the furnace control panel, this unit eliminates the need to find a 120v power outlet. Available in 12", 14" and 16" lengths. Includes safety viewport and mounting bracket.

Bio-Fighter Nomad:
Surface mounted UV-C applications demand installation flexibility and the Nomad delivers one of the most flexible chassis designs available. The multi-input voltage power supply, providing the installer a range of 120 to 240v, coupled with the Nomad’s innovative chassis bracket feature allow the Nomad to be installed virtually anywhere, in or on your residential HVAC system. An optional remote safety interlock ensures power disconnect for internally mounted fixtures and the safety system is compatible for insert mount applications as well.

Bio-Fighter Triad:
The Triad is our favourite unit for residential installation. These units feature a UV-safe viewport, detachable power cord, easy bulb replacement, and limited lifetime warranty. The Triad also incorporates dual safety devices and has earned an ETL safety listing. The Triad is available in 120v or 230v models, 16" or 20" bulb lengths, and single or dual bulb configurations.

Bio-Fighter VersaLight:
The VersaLight offers a remote mounted lamp capability that allows placement of either one or two UV lamps anywhere within 6 feet of the VersaLight’s chassis. This remote feature, coupled with the VersaLight’s multi-input voltage power supply that can handle 120v to 240v, make the VersaLight the "One size fits all" UV-C fixture.

Bio-Fighter XL:
Large commercial coils require large UV-C fixtures to maximize surface area coverage energy efficiently. The Bio-Fighter XL is uniquely qualified for extra large applications with lamp lengths up to five feet and a class-leading reflector surface area to cost effectively apply a high dose of UV-C energy.

Bio-Fighter 4Xtreme:
Many rooftop AHUs are candidates for high power commercial UV-C fixtures and the 4Xtreme is the Bio-Fighter® for the job. The 4Xtreme is equipped with a UL listed NEMA 4X interlocked enclosure to handle the harshest of HVAC environments. The multi-input voltage power supply rated for 120v to 240v, along with your choice of three lamps lengths, provides a very compatible unit for the majority of roof-top applications.
