Most people today spend between 60% and 90% of their time indoors, yet the quality of indoor air is frequently ignored. The standard disposable air filter found in most heating and ventilation systems is designed only to protect the HVAC equipment, not human health. Better quality pleated filters are available, but can easily cost more than $100 per year.
The Evolution Air Pro Gold 94 electrostatic air filter provides superior air cleaning in a permanent filter. The Pro Gold 94 cleans the air using static electricity — a naturally-occurring phenomenon. An electrostatic charge is generated by air flowing through a maze of static-prone fibres. Airborne particulate is attracted and held by the static charge until released by washing.
The Pro Gold 94 is available in 40 standard sizes as well as custom sizes. To install, simply remove your existing inefficient disposable filter and slide in the Pro Gold 94 into the filter track. All that is required to maintain the efficiency of the filter is a 5 minute cleaning once a month. The Pro Gold 94 carries a lifetime warranty and will give you years of worry-free air cleaning.

HEPA filters are too dense to be placed inline with the heating/cooling system. For this reason, HEPA filtration systems must use a bypass configuration — they draw a portion of the passing air out of the furnace return air duct, clean it, and then return it to the main air stream. Most HEPA systems are large units that accomplish this bypass with two air ducts that run between the unit and the main return air duct. The Fantech unit is different. While it can be used in this common configuration (model CM3000), it is designed to be mounted directly on the return air duct (model DM3000). This unique mounting method allows the Fantech unit to be compactly installed in tight spaces.
